Skilled-trade scholarships, apprenticeship stipends and grants – collected in one place so you can find what fits your trade and your state.

Tuition shouldn't stop you from a six-figure trade

Skilled-trade scholarships and grants can cover tuition, fees, books, and tools — and many apprenticeships pay you while you train. Build Freedom curates the most relevant programs in one place so you don't have to hunt across dozens of sites.

Each program below links to the sponsoring organization – Build Freedom doesn't process applications. Eligibility and deadlines are set by each sponsor.

Common Questions (FAQ)

Who is eligible to apply for these scholarships?

Eligibility varies by program — most require U.S. residency and enrollment (or planned enrollment) in an accredited skilled-trade or apprenticeship program. Each listing notes program-specific eligibility.

Does Build Freedom U.S. award these scholarships directly?

No. Build Freedom U.S. curates programs offered by partner organizations (mikeroweWORKS Foundation and others) but does not process applications. Each program is administered by the sponsoring organization.

How much can I expect to receive?

Award amounts vary by program and recipient need, typically ranging from a few hundred dollars for tools and books up to full tuition coverage for multi-year programs.

Can I apply to more than one scholarship?

Yes. Most programs allow concurrent applications. Some have award restrictions — for example, capping total combined awards — so read each program's terms before applying.
